To ensure the best possible results and safe healing, please follow these preparation instructions before your cosmetic brow tattoo appointment:

• Do NOT consume caffeine or alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment
• (These increase bleeding and may affect pigment retention)
• Avoid blood-thinning products/medications for 48 hours before and after your procedure
• This includes fish oil, aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and similar supplements (unless prescribed by your doctor , never stop medication without physician approval)
• No Botox or dermal fillers in or near the brow area for a minimum of 4 weeks prior to treatment
• Please discontinue Retinol, Retin-A, prescription acne creams, antibiotics, steroids, or chemical peels at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment
• Arrive with clean skin , no brow makeup, oils, lotions, or SPF on the treatment area

For your safety, you cannot receive cosmetic tattooing if you:

• Are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have used Accutane/Isotretinoin within the past 12 months
• Are under 18 years old
• Have uncontrolled diabetes
• Have a sunburn in the treatment area
• Have been diagnosed with Trichotillomania, Immune Disorders, or Hemophilia
• Have an active infection, cold sore outbreak, rash, or wound in the treatment area
• Have an upcoming surgery within the next 4 weeks
• Are currently taking blood thinners, antibiotics, or strong medications affecting healing
• Are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
• Have a known tendency to keloid or form raised scars
• Received Botox or filler in the treatment area within the past 3 weeks
• Had chemical peels, microneedling, laser, or resurfacing treatments in the area within the last 4 weeks

Proper aftercare is essential for beautiful, long-lasting results. Please carefully follow these instructions:
Day 1 (First 24 Hours)
Every 2–3 hours, gently cleanse the brows using a clean wet cotton pad, and lightly wash the area with antibacterial soap and lukewarm water

• General Healing Guidelines:
• Do NOT scrub, pick, rub, or peel the brows
• Do NOT touch the area with unclean hands
• Do NOT apply makeup on or near brows until fully healed
• Healing times vary — touch-ups are recommended for best results
• If you notice unusual redness, swelling, pus, or pain, contact a physician immediately

• For the Next 1–4 Weeks:
• Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks
• After healing, always protect brows with SPF 30
• Avoid excessive sweating for 1 week
• Avoid Retinol, Retin-A, acne creams, antibiotics, and steroids for 4 weeks
• Avoid hair removal, waxing, threading, or tinting until fully healed
• No facials, lasers, microneedling, peels, or cosmetic treatments for 4 weeks
• Avoid sleeping on your face and use a clean pillowcase for 2 weeks
• Avoid makeup on or around brows for 2 weeks
• Do not attempt to “fill in” sparse spots while healing
• Avoid soaking brows in water — no pools, saunas, steam rooms, or long hot showers for 2 weeks
• Apply provided aftercare product with a clean Q-tip only (never fingers)

Consultations are mandatory before any first time microblading procedure.
This is true even (especially) if you've had it done somewhere else.

I assess your skin type and condition, relevant medical background, lifestyle, goals, desires, and any upcoming special events that affect your scheduling.
We'll then discuss the various treatment methods available, the pros and cons of each as they apply to you personally, and any preparation you'll want to do in order to maximize your results.

Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service: if your service is shortened due to your late arrival you will be charged the full cost of the service.

The time allocated for your appointment is reserved specifically for you.
Of course, I do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, therefore I respectfully request at least a 48-hour notice for all adjustments to your appointment as well as cancellations.

Please understand that when you forget, reschedule or cancel your appointment without giving me enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on a waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.
Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply.

It is normal to experience the following after treatment:

• Lips may feel dry, tight, tender, and swollen immediately after the procedure
• Swelling typically subsides within 24–48 hours
• Similar to brow healing, lips will go through a darker stage, followed by flaking/peeling as they heal
• This is completely normal and part of the healing process

Very Important❗

Do NOT pick, peel, rub, or scratch your lips while healing.
Doing so can cause scarring, uneven color, delayed healing, and loss of pigment.

• This includes fish oil, aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, etc.
• (Never stop a prescribed medication without consulting your physician)
• No Botox or dermal fillers in or around the lips for 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after your procedure
• If you are prone to cold sores, please take an antiviral medication prescribed by your physician
• Gently exfoliate lips daily for 1 week prior to your appointment and keep them well moisturized
• (Hydrated lips heal better and retain color beautifully)

• Day 1 (Immediately After Procedure — First 24 Hours)
• Gently cleanse lips every 2–3 hours using a clean, damp cotton pad with a gentle antibacterial soap
• (This helps prevent hardening of lymphatic fluid)
• Before bed, clean lips with the antiseptic liquid provided
• Apply the recommended aftercare ointment using a clean Q-tip only
• Do NOT rub lips together

• Days 1–7
• Apply aftercare ointment several times a day — do not let lips dry out
• Avoid touching lips with fingers unless applying ointment
• Do NOT apply makeup, chapstick, or any other products

• Peeling Stage (Days 2–4)
• Lips will begin to flake and peel — this is normal
• Allow flakes to fall off naturally
• Do NOT pick, rub, pull, or peel the lips
• (Doing so can remove pigment and affect healing)

• Important Healing Guidelines
• Drink all liquids through a straw
• Do NOT bite into foods — use utensils or fingers
• Avoid smoking
• Avoid direct sun, tanning beds, sweating, steam, saunas
• Avoid soaking lips in the shower
• Do NOT use cleansers, soaps, or exfoliants on the lips
• Avoid makeup on or near lips
• Avoid kissing until healed

• Healing Timeline
• Lips may appear darker initially
• Expect up to 50% fading within the first 5 days
• Lips will remain in a lighter “healing phase” for up to 30 days
• 1–2 touch-ups may be required to achieve final desired color

Touch-ups are done no sooner than 6–8 weeks, depending on healing.

Medical Notice
If you experience unusual redness, swelling, pus, fever, or pain, contact a physician immediately.

• Eyes may feel slightly swollen or puffy the day of your treatment and possibly the following day — this is normal
• A topical anesthetic is applied prior to your procedure to ensure a comfortable, low-pain experience
• Initial healing typically takes about 7 days, although complete healing and color settling may take longer

Important Note
Mild redness, tightness, or tenderness can be normal during healing. If you experience excessive swelling, severe pain, rash, fever, or signs of infection, please contact a physician.

Lash extensions must be fully removed prior to your appointment
(Removal can be provided for an additional fee if needed.)
Extensions may be reapplied 7 days after the procedure once healing has begun.
Contact lenses must be removed at the start of your appointment.

• Please bring glasses if needed for vision or driving.

Eyeliner aftercare is simple but very important for proper healing and beautiful results. Please follow these guidelines:

• Do NOT pick, rub, or peel any scabbing or flaking
• Avoid wearing eye makeup (eyeliner, mascara, shadows, lash glue, etc.) for at least 7 days
• Do not soak the eye area in water — avoid pools, saunas, steam, and long hot showers
• Avoid contact lenses, contact solution, and eye drops for at least 1 week, unless prescribed by a physician
• Avoid excessive sweating, sun exposure, and tanning beds during the first week
• Sleep on a clean pillowcase and avoid sleeping face-down

Healing Time
Initial healing typically takes about one week, though full color settling may take longer.
