Possible side effects and risks may include, but are not limited to:
• Redness and swelling
• Skin sensitivity or irritation
• Temporary discomfort or heat sensation
• Blistering or burns
• Hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin)
• Hypopigmentation (lightening of the skin)
• Scabbing or crusting
• Infection
• Changes in skin texture
• Acne flare-ups or folliculitis
• Bruising
• Scarring (rare)
• Delayed healing
• Eye injury if protective eyewear is not used
Results vary depending on skin type, medical history, hormone levels, sun exposure, medications, and adherence to pre- and post-treatment instructions. No guarantees are made regarding treatment outcomes or number of sessions required.
Certain conditions may increase the risk of complications, including but not limited to:
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Recent sun exposure, tanning, or use of self-tanners
• Use of photosensitizing medications or supplements
• History of keloid scarring
• Skin infections, wounds, or active skin conditions
• Autoimmune disorders
• Hormonal conditions
• History of herpes simplex in treatment areas
A medical evaluation and/or Good Faith Examination (GFE) may be required prior to laser treatment.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate medical history and disclosing all medications, supplements, and health conditions prior to treatment.
